Silk Smitha (2 November 1960 – 23 October 1996) was an A indian film celebrity. She became a film additional and therefore the most desired heroine of the beginning 80s. The sobriquet "Silk" came in 1979, with her first Tamil film Vandi Chakkaram, in which she performed a bar young lady known as "Silk". In a job growing 17 years, she did over 450 videos in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi different languages.
